Mike McSwain is an architect, artist, and perpetual doodler whose work reflects his deep passion for both the natural and built environment. Raised in Houston, Texas, Mike has called Shreveport home since 1995. Drawing, sketching, and painting have always been integral to his life—ways to document, dream, design, and celebrate the world around him.

As an architect, Mike is particularly drawn to the spaces people inhabit, constantly building a visual library of environments and the emotions they evoke. Since founding Mike McSwain Architect, LLC in 2005, he has led a creative team dedicated to designing structures that serve the local community and reflect the unique spirit of the area.
