Aniyah Palms

STUDENT ARTIST

Aniyah Palms is a visual artist whose work is rooted in personal memory, emotion, and a deep connection to nature. From a young age, she found joy, comfort, and peace in drawing and painting—a passion lovingly passed down from her grandmother. Their time spent together outdoors, sketching flowers, butterflies, and skies, left a lasting impact on Aniyah’s artistic journey. Her grandmother’s wisdom, particularly her belief in growth and flourishing with time, continues to shape Aniyah’s creative perspective. As a result, flowers have become a powerful symbol in her work, representing growth, beauty, and love.

Aniyah primarily works with acrylics, often incorporating mixed media and oil pastels to bring depth and texture to her pieces. Her art is rich with vibrant color, floral motifs, and emotive landscapes—each piece aiming to capture not only the beauty of the world, but also the feeling and meaning beneath its surface.

Through her art, Aniyah honors her grandmother’s legacy while offering her own interpretation of the world around her. Each brushstroke is an act of remembrance and self-expression, inviting viewers to pause, connect, and feel.
